Forums - Nintendo - FACTOR 5 back on Wii!!

@azrm2k

I'm not talking about if Lair was good or bad, or if their new Wii game is gonna be good or bad. I'm talking about how they dissed the Wii all the way, even when their effort on the "next-gen console" was mediocre at best.

Give these guys a break, they deserve it. Lair may have been bad and Rogue Squadron 3 was a bust but they know they can't repeat the same mistakes so I'm sure this time they will hire a better staff to design the game play this time around. I have no doubt that they will bring something incredible to the table.

Also, it should be quite obvious that they didn't start programming the Wii game just today.  Most likely they've been working on it since Lair's completion or possibly even before Lair was done.  They are only just announcing their Wii intentions to get some notice from investors.

I'm not getting my hopes up before I know (a lot) more about this game ... But I am very excited to see what their game looks like. At times Rogue Squadren 2 and 3 looked far better than anything we have seen for the Wii

Ah I see.  A simple misunderstanding.  I agree then that it is good that some of the more ambitious third parties can change their tunes and realize developing titles on the Wii isn't a waste of time.

HappySqurriel, how often have you already posted this screenshot in this forum? Eight times?

At least ;)

I am only anxious to see what Factor 5 can squeeze out of the Wii hardware graphically because they haven't made a good game since Rogue Squadron 2 on GC back in 2001. Lair and Rogue Squadron 3 don't inspire my confidence in Factor 5. I have more confidence in Rare than I do Factor 5.

 Now that is just cold blooded.

Yay! More developers for the Wii

It's about time they came back, though I was hoping Lair would be a success for them. I really want them to try something new, but I really want to play a Rogue Squadron game with the Wii remote too. Oh the humanity. Whatever it turns out to be, I'm stoked and can't wait to hear more about it.
