A few days ago I became unable to log into my own account (username NJ5), so I started using another account - NJ5Test. Not even the "lost password" function was enough to recover it. I emailed ioi about it, but no reply so far.

On that second account, I wrote in my signature that I had created it due to problems with my account (apparently it didn't prevent some mod from banning it, but well).

The thing is that I have seen lots of people complaining about this same problem. I believe darthdevidem created a new account, endurance too, and maybe others. Is there some bug in the website which occasionally causes accounts to become unusable? If you had any problem like this, please post it here so that the bug can be identified and hopefully fixed so that we can all restart using our original accounts.

You deserve to be banned though, all you do is troll...

It happened to me 2 weeks ago. I type in my password and it said login failure, so I click the lost password and it e-mail my password, didn't work. Then I Click lost password and did everything again like 6 times and I got 7 diffrent passwords, so I tried the most recent one and it finally logged me in

If you have a problem with a specific post/thread of mine please report it, but refrain from this sort of umbrella attack. I've been in these forums for almost a year and never got banned, so there must be something wrong going on with your theory.

yeah i wasn't able to log in a few weeks ago. It happens to me sometimes when im trying to log in. Even when i know what the password is, sometimes
it'll deny and that "retieve ur lost password" thingy does NOT work :(

Well to be honest, I have the exact same problem, I can't login anymore on my account so I did: lost password but it didn't help. So now I can alone come on my account using my PS3, because I am still automatically logged in on my PS3 internetbrowser.
But I can't login anymore with my pc, and that's really frustrating.

I hope there is someone here who can help me with this problem.
