XBLAFANS

Ascend: New Godsthe recently announced XBLA game from Signal Studios has been revealed as one of the first games to utilise Microsoft’s new SmartGlass technology. The action-RPG game is said to feature an “Oracle” that brings up a minimap of the current dungeon that you’re in, the instant you enter it. You will also be able to check out the stats of a new boss or player that enters your world to inform your decision to fight or flee. Players will also be able to wage war against other gamers directly from their mobile phone, racking up power and prestige that can then be transferred over to your Xbox 360 console.

My tablet costed 600 USD, and that's all I wanted to say.

mine was twice that... and i can't wait to see what i can di with smart glass..... i didn't bought for the xbox.... would have bought it even with no xbox at all so smart glass is just straight up brownie points... especially since it will allow me to have even more actual play time out of my session by making easier to do/access thing i already use today.... if implemented well i'll probably end up using that even more than i use the kinect right now...

oh dood did you buy like a fully fledged Intel one or something? ><;

didn't know intel was also doing tablet pc.... no i got meself a samsung series 7 slate

http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/tablet-pcs/XE700T1A-A03US this one

can't say i'm 100% satisfied out of the box.... but that's because win7 is not optimized for tablets.. i have since then added win8 and have android and an android emulator on win7.... but once win8 officially releases it's gonna be exactly what i wanted... i bought it for that in the first place... after all it's one they gave away to devs at the built conference.... and i'm pretty sure it was also the one they use to show smart glass at e3 media brief....

yeah that's what I meant, an Intel CPU one, that's a pretty good one, Samsung really knows their shit these days. I personally got a Tegra 3 (Asus Transformer Prime 64GB)

that's the other one I was looking at either transformer prime or the samsung slate.... the name sounded better on the asus side but the specs were on the samsung side.... anyway we are  precursors on the market... at least we didn't get sucked on the apple iPad sillyness... that's the difference between braindead people and real geeks.....

This is exactly the kind of thing I want with Smart Glass. Still have no interest in that game whatsoever but if other games have similar features/Smart Glass compatibility then I'll be a happy camper.

Although I do hope Smart Glass is compatible with the Windows Phone 7.

Wonder how it will work efficiently. I only have two arms.

Yay!!!

Put the tablet/smart phone on a music stand (or something of the like) and put it right next to you. That way you can just look over whenever you want/have easy swiping ability.

Have you ever wished you can play this game...while connected to your smart phone, which is connected to your tablet, which is connected to your oven, while sitting in the refrigerator?

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

everyone does, at some point.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

iOS is good for the average Joe, kinda like everybody knows how to shit on a normal toilet and flush, things non-Apple usually act more like high tech toilets, not for everybody, shit ton of options and buttons just for your ass, but damn they are nice.

this is the most retarded comment i keep seeing.. Wh1pL4shL1ve_007  i mean

even with the wiiu if you wanna use the touch part you'll have to drop the pad part eventually.... and for 100th time it's for people that already use a computer in conjunction to consuming multimedia..... you know the millions of us that actually bother to go deeper in a game or movie by going on wikis to have more info.... except now we don't have to waist time doing the research or digging the info through thousands of unofficial pages....

best comparison i can think of it's like the bonus disc on blu ray.... or the directors comment version... i just have 2 ears with no selective earing skill... can i enjoy a movie while listening to a voice over???? not really but that's not the point nor the intent..... here it's the same.... they never expect you to play the game while using your tablet/phone.... they hope to be able to provide a deeper experience of a game to people that are interested by having easy access to bonus features which are non essential to the main experience.... you don't need 4 hands for that jackass

being able to interact directly with the game will be extra.... imagine being able to access inventory or skill trees during loading screens or cut sceenes... or use the tab or phone like gps in skyrim... those little things would be great for people that want to use them but non essential to the main game experience...
