Nintendo Introduces Miiverse, an online gaming network where gamers from Nintendo can
communicate and share information with each other using Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
In the near future gamers will be able to communicate in the Wiiverse on any other device such as smart phone and computers.

Also in the video is they show how the Wii U controller can be used to surf the
internet, interact with friends through the Miiverse.

The big highlight is the Miiverse, no doubt about it, because in the video they
show a demo of a gamer playing Super Mario Bros. Wii, and his friends
commenting on his game play as he progress in the game.

How exactly will it communicate with smart phones?

ive just watched it and im still shocked...
The Wiiverse and videochat look fairly very promising

Well one thing is for sure. Nintendo comes up with the absolute corniest names for products and services.

Aww... just noticed the control sticks don't have octagonal recesses anymore.

At&t has U-verse so Nintendo copied a phone company. Does this madness never end?

Seriously though it looks like Nintendo is getting serious about online.

Sounds like a fun idea. With how people want their social networks integrated more and more with their gaming consoles this seems like a step in the right direction to me, especially if you can integrate it with your phones and PC.

Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward = best game ever made.

I'm really excited Nintendo's taking online seriously, but I must say, these names suck balls.

Can't believe I didn't catch this till' now. It's actually MiiVerse, not WiiVerse.

Showed the controller redesigned looks good.
