It looks alot better than I thought it was going to, but those screens are waaaay to dark and dull. More vibrance or a Cell Shaded look would of looked miles better

Looks like that Double Dragon game WayForward is working on, only worse.

I miss Streets of Rage, one of the best soundtracks in gaming.

Don't like the look of it at all.

Would be nice if SEGA released Streets of Rage 4 on XBLA/Virtual Console etc (but kept the graphics looking like SOR 2 & 3 but with more levels, character moves sets and so on).

Right now i'm still over the moon that Streets or Rage 3 on XBLA gives you the option to play the Japanese version. (SEGA's recent vintage collections have been excellent in terms of sheer quality and quantity)

Was it Streets of Rage 3 that when you get to the final boss he asks you if you want to join them?  I actually said yes once because I only had a few guys left and didn't think I could beat the final boss (friend was playing with me taking up all the continues).  Turns out he laughs at you or something then it kicks you a few levels back...  I thought it was pretty funny considering I was like wtf...

Thats the original. You become the new od syndicate though.

Yup, was a shock to me too in SOR 1 when i said yes to joining only to be thrown back to stage 6............ good times though.
