LOL, at first I thought this was talking about the 4th Xbox selling more than the Sony and Nintendo predecessors.
You know, for a good chunk of these if you swapped PS4 and Xbox 720 he'd be pretty close.
Actually, all things considered the PS4 very well might outsell both the WiiU and Xbox One. Heck it's already at something like 41% of the generations sales.

Lol, it is fun to bring up old threads for the purpose of serving crow. Especially when some of the posters state their opinion as set in stone facts. Here's my thread on how I thought this gen would end up. For the vast majority of it, I was right. But, some of the other comments in there are quite hilarious.
Was a very bold prediction, considering the success of Xbox360, I would have told you even then that it's impossible.

Exactly, the PlayStation is the biggest brand in gaming history. Even the PSP sold more than the 360. The Vita is the only console that has not performed well, but it took the PSP over 2 years to florish. I don't know why people contiune to doubt Sony.

Casuals will look at what the console has to offer, next gen Windows 8 will power conputers/tablets/phones and casuals might be interrested to buy the console that has windows 8 inside too. This is supposed to unify MS platforms together gaming wise using SmartGlass Gamers will still like Halo/Forza/Gears/Fable/Wake/Arcade, the console will be very easy to program for yet again, supposed to be more powerfull than both PS4 and WiiU and will offer every gaming options available to other consoles -> WiiU Tablet -> MS SmartGlass -> PS4 Vita -> Wiimotes -> Kinect -> Move -> --- -> Blue Ray -> Blue Ray -> --- -> Fortalesa Glasses -> Sony 3D Glasses |
