If people were lining up like this for a PSP game you would be be doing the victory dance. Admit it.

Kwaad, those people are in line for Pokemon. Give it a rest.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
Wow. Kwaad, you're something else.
"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."
Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

Well, my point is, if it is in a city like NYC, or something, a crowd like that, isnt amazing. If it is in a residential area, they could seriously have 10,000+ people show up in a few hours... Just from the people who have kids within a few miles. It looks like alot of people are there, but seriously, there arent that many with their DS, it is known to be a Nintendo convention, so that means people come out in full force. I am not bashing nintendo or pokemon. I am just saying, that crowd doesnt look *all* that big to me. Looks relativly small actually. |
Yeah, give it a break :) Just some random pictures taken by a guy, not "publicity" shots taken by Nintendo.
That last shot shows a lot of people, and they are all headed to the store. Its Pokemon, no surprise man!
(PS - check the link for even more pics, including some of the craziness in-store)

Is something wrong with you? I just wondar what your spin is when April NPD shows a combined sell though of Diamond and Pearl at over 1.5 million. Heck maybe it'll be closer to 2 million. I'm mean pre orders were double that of Fire Red and Leaf Green. My guess is you'll to the standard anti-Nintendo flame and say it was just all kids buying it.
