seems like their e3 was just slopped together and they didn't even place things how they should've been
like why would you end the show with a multiplat game? and why have Gears and Halo shown so early??

Sincerely...what a boring conference. No news, no surprises..."worst E3 conference" for Microsoft seems very plausible.
Here's the real South Park quote (which is now part of my sig!):
How many times have you been watching an episode of South Park and thought "I'd like to watch this on my television while hooked it my mobile device which is being controlled by my tablet device which is hooked into my oven all the while sitting in my refrigirator"
Signature goes here!
Anyone got a link to the South park presentation? my computer crashed as they came on stage.
Microsoft did not manage their time well. The whole program was a roller coaster ride, mostly coasting through segments which led you to believe there will be a thrill element at the next loop but only to bring you back down realizing near the end that the climax was already introduced near the beginning.
It should have went like this:
-Address the Kinect-specific games
-Concert
-Exhibit core Kinect-capable games
-Display Multiplatforms
-Declare the Exclusives
-Flaunt Gears of War,
-Finally, boast Halo 4
I'm not sure if i can say that this E3 was better than their last conference
their last conference was atleast consistant and they finished it off with an exclusive title
this a press conference for professional of the electronic entertainement first and second a marketing tool towards "hardcore" gamers..... game trailers might be a big thing for us.... but not that much for pros.... especiallly since they have access to them behind closed door from the devs month before us anyways.... i'd agree as a gamer i expected more candy.... but from a pro standpoint knowing they have a single platform they did a pretty good job talking about what they do and what is the window of oportunity.... i think the smart glass if used properly could be one of the best add on in a while to video games....maps you can navigate add notes on the go (that way i don't have to scribble on my elder scroll map poster) top view of the field with the drone on the tablet in games like cod.... i can also see great co op possibilities.... a real sniper team with eagle eye player etc... fine tune your car on the fly in forza..... inventory management made easy.... etc.... what i was really surprised with was we didn't get that much kinect stuff.... but for a last e3 before next gen announcement i didn't expect that many new ip like some of us did.... if anything is in the works its for next gen imho no surprise here.... i think keeping a steady not iver the top hype machine us smarter than what sony does.... cause they end up showing their cards way too early which is great on the short run and for ys gamers but really strategically sound.... so yeah ms might once again appear blander.... but not sure it ain't better tactically over all.... once again concidering it's mainly a pro event not a mktg tool for us gamers or not it's main purpose..... during this MS will be spending more times in privare booth stricking contracts and charming devs for next gen projects than demoing stuff and we are kept in the dark for all that unfortunately....
What's with the haters?
The hardcore games looked great, some of the kinect stuff looked fun, and the Xbox Glass stuff looks very cool.
Halo 4, Splinter Cell, Gears of War Judgment, and Forza Horizon all are going to be killer. The rest was gravy.
As for the show itself. It's a freaking press conference, not an entertainment show. Who cares if Nike wants to sell you a shoe or if Usher does a dance? That's all just business. The games look freaking amazing.
Started off really strong with Halo and Splinter Cell. Than so much other nonsense. I am sure the features would be nice with the UI and such but it was just so boring. Tomb Raider's second outing in the conference was okay. Most people who like these kind of games are sold on it. Including me.
South Park and other xbla games were good. Don't really care about kinect or move that much. So yea. :)
