some retailers list withcer 1 for ps3 and 360 ( i read this yesterday). would make sense to release witcher 2 as well then on ps3.

If that's true I guess the days of MS' timed exclusives deals aren't over.

Yeah, and CD Project didn't deny it either. In fact, they said something about secret witcher announcements in late 2012.

In what Universe? |
We are undead gamers playing unborn games on a dead platform, didn't you know?
| crissindahouse said: why only above 70? you exclude most kinect games with that^^ |
This made me LOL!!!
About retail and digital: BOTH matter.
But retail matters more for HW sales, retail games make the consoles' shelves in the stores richer and more appealing, while average, not hardcore, gamers normally come to know about digital games when they already bough a console. Digital games almost always provide a great profit margin, due to their lower costs for everything except development, but they have a much smaller marketing value

Okay...so basically my point still stands, it seems the rules seem to get changed whenever it suits the agenda being driven. |
And so does mine. I am counting 360 games not on PS3 and vise versa. Fairly simple. Its interesting your trying to poke holes in that.
But I read the thread and we seem to come to the agreement that in this day and age downloadables are earning the right to stand next to retail offerings.

If this were comparing exclusives. Unfortunately it is not. |
I feel comparing everything is better then just exclusives. Because just comparing exclusives basically takes games off of both 360 and PS3 lists, pretending they dont exist and sweeping them under a rug.....even though they are games clearly not available on the other.
Thats part of the reason why I feel the exclusive argument is broken. It doesn't display a consoles full offerings.
Its 360 vs PS3. So naturally you count everything one has that the other doesnt. Simple.
