what does retail prove??? A digital can be great like a retail title. And what does port prove?? The WItcher is not on the pS3 so its good to mention it on the Xbox .

I remember a time when Sony fans were making the same arguements with Warhawk and Wipeout when they were PSN only and when games like Star Ocean finally came a year later and folks said those didn't count...what changed?

Witcher 2 is a port, but its not on PS3. 

When Star Ocean came out a year later on PS3.....360 allready had it. You comparison would make sense if 360 didnt have the game allready.  

Okay...so basically my point still stands, it seems the rules seem to get changed whenever it suits the agenda being driven. 


I hope you're not suprised by that... all of these other threads made by Sony exclude console exclusives and Kinect titles, so it was bound to happen in one way or another in this one.

Don't get me wrong, I find that irritating as well when people suggest Kinect and Move games aren't "games".

Another one was when PS3 had no Gaemz, people kept insisting multiplats (i.e games on the 360 and ps3) didn't count but now it seems to be fair game. Not necessarily on this thread but still.

Because trends change as the years go by. Think back to 2008 when the iPhone first came out and everyone "hated" touch screen and now it's the most dominate phone on the market. Digital sales are becoming bigger because they're cheaper and just as fun (or more fun in some cases) as major retail games. It's not the rules changing, it's the times.
