Would you want a touchscreen on the PS4 controller?

Kind of like the Wii U tablet, but much smaller. More like a Dual Shock, with a 4" iPhone screen in the middle of it. 

I think it would be amazing. No more pressing select in Uncharted to view the journal. Calling in an airstrike in COD on the touchscreen. Having the track map on GT5. Quick Time events replaced by gestures on the touchscreen in God of War. 

The touch screen could serve a lot of purposes. The possibilities are endless.

Nah, wouldn't fancy that. Don't think I'd enjoy the constant distraction of having a screen on the controller.

i dont think the Wii U controller is powered by AA batteries

I would rather see them use some form of the track pad or that special grip that can read your physical status (forgot the name :S) than this personally. Add different shaped analog sticks, better trigger button and a vita like dpad and I'm good to go :)

Yes, it's called a vita. Expect ps4 to come with a vita as a standard controller.It should have slightly bigger Sticks, and maybe a few things stripped out, That's my crazy prediction anyway. What better way to sky rocket the sales of the vita? Package it with every PS4.

Yes. That would allow Sony to catch up with Nintendo after a one-year headstart. Nintendo need that competition in order to keep improving. Not following their lead would be a foolish and risky move on their part.

Seriously though, I wouldn't find it necessary at all. The Vita should be sufficient.

I'd rather they lived up to Orbis Vita and did what fish taco said, just with a normal Vita. Does anyone remember the LBP demo with one person using the dualshock and another the Vita? Give me that! Otherwise if it is just a screen we would end up with a Wii U clone.

No, i'd hate the touch on the controller.
BUT, i've said it before and i am saying it again: I WANT OLED BUTTONS!

I'd prefer my the controller to stay pretty much as it is. I remember when Sony first revealed the PSV, they said that they wanted to have some control differences just to help differentiate their home consoles from their handhelds.
