Do not forget how much hate the 3ds got when it was failing so bad. Its only fair that vita suffer through it too. Solid thread. Also, I agree with you. I think they should have pushed its release date out to May and structured their launch titles so that they have a steady stream of games till e3, at which point they announce more games to make people forget about the fact that there is a 3 month gap between when they get more games because everybody is antipating new games in the fall.
