Forums - Gaming - Nintendo suddenly stops making 3DS.

tbh not many I can even think of...the only franchise I would like to see Layton and that's about it...I do want a tekken but as usual vita will get Tekken Tag eventually so that's not a problem

I'm not even going to answer your question. Instead, I'm going to go totally off topic. I'm dowloading the demo of Rayman Origins on both the Vita and the 3DS in about five minutes. I won't buy either since I already got the game on 360 but I'd love to see how they compare.

If you're going to report this thread, might as well report the other one as well. They are both flamebait.

He's joking. cool off.

Presuming that Nintendo games are off-limits, Vita owners would certainly stand to gain from the return of Monster Hunter

Maybe for the Japanese crowd (cuz the franchise is so popular there) but there already much better looking games headed for vita

Those are all Nintendo franchises that I would consider buying for my Vita if 3DS dies. Here's a list of Sony franchises that I would consider buying for Vita if 3DS stayed alive:

Trees can be tall, you know. Like reeeeeally tall.

But anything RPG and anything Strategy and anything made by Nintendo.

Food for thought: Shove an apple in your brain

Only Theatrhythm and Bravely Default, I guess. If 3DS had any games I really wanted, I'd have bought one.

You want my honest opinion?

None. All of the third party titles on the 3DS dont interest me that much, closest would probably be Dead or Alive Dimensions but I'm sure the Vita could hold a DOA5 port.

P.S. Oh ya I guess Resident Evil Revelations but that is also a low priority to me lol.

If Nintendo stops making 3DS, I can see them going on another source such as iOS, not to the Vita.

Which would never happen.

Maybe in a 100 years if we (humanity) even live that long l0l

No, it would never happen. Nintendo said that if consoles are out they are out.

A business can retract any comment they've made previously depending on the situation and the time, I'm pretty sure the people who made that decision years ago probably wouldnt say that in another 20 years or so, anything can happen, take everything that a business says about their future if doom/gloom ever occurs with a grain of salt imo.

They said it last year. I'm pretty sure Iwata even confirmed it. Nintendo doesn't want to go onto Sony or Microsoft, they want to stay by themselves.

Like I said, that comment could change within the next 10 or 20 years, also Microsoft and Sony arent the only options in the market if you think about it.

The thing is, I don't think Nintendo wants to lose the control of their product. If it goes to Android/iOS/Sony they'll lose that control.

If Nintendo games are off limits: Monster Hunter. Otherwise, Zelda, past or future.

Man these threads turned into idiotic pissing contests quickly.   'Course the first thread this is modelled after isn't any better.  Someone said that these threads are useful because they show what games people are interested in even if they aren't really interested in the platform but all I see is port begging and people being all high and mighty talking about how they don't want anything from the competition to make themselves feel good.  Guess which one you fall under.
