Let's just wait for E3 . I have some inside info that just might make the battle interesting, even with Mario.

Ugh, what could that possibly be? And how do you have that info? You teaser... -_-

I doubt he does. Merely, you can predict what people are going to do at E3 with regards to Sony, and, as such, can tell people that he was right when something does happen :P

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

PS3 is truly dominating this week. Of course people will ignore this and say "poor sales for everything". You know who you are :)

Hopefully the PS3 can keep it up and stay at #1.

I don't know how being 7k ahead of the next console (handheld) is "truly dominating" but ok...I'd say PC dominated this week. More software for one game than all other gaming systems all games combined :O

Handhelds always sell more than consoles. That is a fact.

This week we got the PS3 ON TOP of the 3DS.

PS3 is #1, it IS dominating considering its been on top of the 360 all year and now even overtook the 3DS.

Is it? No, it really isn't...

NDS - 151mil+
Wii -  96mil+

PSP - 74mil+
360 - 66mil+

Gameboy - 118mil+
SNES - 49mil+

Gameboy Advance - 81mil+
PS2 - 153mil+

All leading handheld devices have outsold the leading console in their generation. The only exception is the PS2 which sold almost double what the Gameboy Advance did.

What does the PSP have to do with this? 360 will surpass it easily. So will PS3. So that's a bad example. So what do we have here? PSP and Gameboy Advance already disprove your "rule". It's not a fact if it's not lol

The only reason I mentioned the PSP is because it sold so much. It is a second place handheld so it is not an exception to the rule. Read the bold statement I made. It is a fact.

Peeps pretending PS3 did amazing despite only being 7k ahead of the 3DS and the gap between the PS3 and 360 is lower than last week lol, you know who you are.

You sound mad :P

Funny how you say that PS3 is "only" 7k ahead of the 3DS this week, yet you mention the lower PS360 gap from last week to this week which is ironicly only ~3k.

you sound desperate... :P

dominaton!!... just over 40% market share for the week (not domination - 50% plus is domination) and dead last in the home console race (very far from domination).  Do not confuse having a lead of with domination.

keep up the good work though.

@bold
You sure you're not talking about yourself?

This is the May 19th chart. We're talking sales for this week. Stay on topic. and lol at "dead last". Who'se desperate now?

Keep it up. You're showing your true colors. glad you're not trying to stealth anymore. I saw right through it.

So why hasn't PS3 been adjusted yet?

Because like someone else said pretty soon there will be negative amounts of PS3 units on shelves according to Vgchartz numbers. The console was at some point clearly overtracked, or 360 was undertracked. Official shipments confirm this.

I dont think adjustment will come now, not before next Nintendo charts or PS3 shipment figure.

PS3 shipmente was low (1.9m) due to the impact of the flooding in Thailand... Sony shipped less than market needs... so the number of units on shelves is low.

Edit - Beat by @KillerMan

whatever..... its overtracked.

With these news... I guess on spot is possible too .

of course you do... I frankly dont believe a word they say any more.

So you don't belive Vgchartz data? Then please leave.
There are many more forums out there where you can discuss NPD, Media Create and every other official chart.

Haha, would you look at that, the same old usual suspects claiming the ps3 is overtracked again, as well as down playing the fact the ps3 is number 1 this week. Not to mention some of them getting in a huff when anything remotely negative is said about the 360 & yet again if you count the number of posters involved in this, there are more MS fans doing it.... but that's strange, i could have sworn i was told it always happens the other way round.... hmmmmmm. :)

To those who replied to me,

But I work retail and inventory on PS3's was never in tight supply...............
