Wow, after Golden Week numbers have been pretty bad. Mario Tennis releases for the 3DS today (will be in next week's numbers), so the 3DS should pick up again (and Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry the week after.) Dragon's Dogma also releases for the PS360, which might help them. I'm not sure if anything can help Vita. I'm surprised at how low Persona 2: Punishment numbers are. I would've bought it if I still had a psp.

It was about the same last week (6,340) as well. It actually went up by 7 week over week!

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Media Create are as follows:

3DS – 45,752

Wow. The 3DS is below 50k, PS3 and PSP are closing in on 10k and the rest...let's just ignore the rest.

According to a new Famitsu report, which cites data from parent company Enterbrain, the 3DS has sold over six million units in Japan. It sold through 6,017,206 units between February 26, 2011 and May 20, 2012.

The 3DS accomplished the feat in sixty-five weeks.

Famitsu is tracking the 3DS by 16k more than media create (6,001,586), so that must be the missing bundles

Anyway, 6 million in record time for both trackers - even if it'll go below DS in a few weeks, it's still commendable!

At least the sw changed, and it looks less blue. Otherwise it would be an incredibly boring week, ....forget that, it is one of the most boring weeks.

It's hard to believe but this is PSP's worst week ever.

and Vita is below it for quite some time.

On the plus side, that's about eight more units than it sold last week.
