Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo E3 2012 Conference - E3 is Dead. Long Live Nintendo Direct!

Apparently GT.TV's Geoff Keighley just dropped a somewhat expected bomb during Spike TV's All Access Weekly. During a snippet, Keighley said that 'Mario Wii U' would be a launch title. Now...I think we're all expecting New Super Mario Bros. Mii to be a Wii U launch title. Whether that's what Keighley was talking about remains to be seen.

Just got my ticket, but damn this train is slow.

Just checked the arrival time and there's apparently 4 days, 9 hours, and 35 minutes still before we get there... Dammit!

Food for thought: Shove an apple in your brain

I'm not ready to discount the 3DS redesign rumors just yet. Yes, the shortages in Japan could be a coincidence, and yes, it took 2 years for the DSLite to come around.

People keep bringing this reason up. I think someone just looked at 2004 and 2006 and said, "Hey, it's two years!" and everyone just went with it.

Look again. In Japan, the DS Lite was released 15 months to the day after the DS. 15 Months to the day after the Japanese 3DS release is... 5 days ago.

There were almost 19 months between the DS and Lite in America; 19 months after the American 3DS launch is this October.

The Lite was revealed about 35 days before its Japanese launch. An E3 reveal, July Japanese launch, and August-September Western launch for a 3DS redesign is not only completely possible, it's in-line with the DS release schedule. No redesign this year is also a possibility. But it's definitely not "too soon" from Nintendo's perspective.

Anyway, count me in on the hype train. Can't wait to see what Nintendo has up their sleeves.

don't hold your hopes high for the konami conference aside from the new pes and the new castlevania for the 3ds will be nothing more. i lost hope that konami when day will support nintendo's systems with decent product along time ago
