and no it was not worth one extra hour, they could have shown tons of Japan exclusives : (

I assume you mean third-party exclusives, Nintendo being Japanese and all?

The Japanese in general seem to have forgotten their E3 tickets this year. They're probably all waiting at TGS or something.

So, games from this that I will definitely buy, no questions asked:

6. ....yeah I'll buy Transformers, shut up

why would you want monster 3g? shouldn't you be asking for monster hunter 4 considering it will be the newer and better game?

MH 4 is almost certainly not going to be day-and-date with Japan, so if you want something for this year MHG3 is your only realistic option.

Oh yeah and Paper Mario... I don't know how I forgot that. >_

As with Wii U, we'll get confirmations of more games throughout the year.

E3 is dead for that purpose.

Long live Nintendo Direct.

Agreed! We should all cheer up. I was pissed off the other day after seeing Nintendo's conference but after some time contemplating about I realized I was acting like a child. ( I'm 25) Nintendo Directs are meant to give us info about games that are coming just around the corner. In a way this is better because we won't be waiting a long time for these games. This is something new to us and we'll just have to get used to it.

For me this was the best conference of E3. They showed off some good gameplay and I'm going to be picking up a lot of those games. I'm actually kinda glad that Animal Crossing and Fire Embem aren't coming this year because I'm harldy going to have enough time playing all these games as it is.

1. Kingdom Hearts

2. NSMB2

3. Heroes of Ruin

4. Castlevania

5. Epic Mickey

6. Luigi's Mansion

7. Paper Mario

I'm pretty sure all these games are going to keep me satisfied until next year.

I'm an advocate for motion controls, Nintendo, and Kicking freaking Toad to the Moon!

I think i could cry!

Anyway, I'll look on the positive side.

Must buys:
- Kingdom Hearts 3D.
- Luigi's Mansion.

Maybe:
- Mario 2.
- Castlevania.

Fire Emblem and Monster Hunter Tri G and what the fuck is going on here?

In one word? Many times.

@Khuutra. Thanks for making it plain english. It's hard to wrap your head around, but E3 is for investors. But then why the heck are so many gamers watching, and why isn't Nintendo paying attention to that? Reggie knows it, that's why he says stuff like "I take names" and all those memes at E3. But how they don't consider our attention in their presentations to cater to both investors and us is redonculous.

Listen Broseph Stalin, if I remember the context of this sprite (and I ought to, I played that whole game a number of times) it's about appreciative contemplation, not disapproval

I'm quite sure we'll get a Nintendo Direct show later this year showing off the early 2013 line-up. That's when you should keep your eyes open for Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing and perhaps Layton vs Wright.

and I can't even believe some of you think this was better than the wiiu conference? I understand the overall quality of the software was good but at least Zombi and Rayman were there. this was a snore fest

Couldn't have said it better myself Sony man.
