Where did they confirm no multi? I remember an interview where they said it'll be in there.

There have been talks of some kind of online componenet, but no mulit-player confirmation.

They worded it as 'there will be some kind of multiplayer aspect to the game' so I can't see them going back on that or just having leaderboards or anything. Sony recognizes the increased need for multiplayer to get big revenue these days so I can't imagine Last of Us shipping without one.

Looks like there will be some sort of multiplayer... though like I said, its probably not full blown multiplayer.... I would guess it's similar to Uncharted 3's online survival mode

Looks like Naughty Dog isnt 100% sure what kind of multiplayer the game will have yet. But there will definitely be something.

No more than UC usually gets. Naughty Dog is well known now but their games still seem to get "few" sales. I put few in quotes because it's not really few but compared to some others, it sure is.

I agree.

Marketing is just not good enough. I think we all know that. The most of the marketing will most likely be left to actual Retailers.

Another big factor will be if it releases in the holiday season. This could push sales A LOT.

Remember, the Wii U is coming out, several other big games are coming out, 3DS is really pushing for sales.

There are a lot of negative factors against it.

What do you mean marketing isn't good enough? We haven't reached the time to make that decision yet.

Dude... dudes.... Stop arguing about Multiplayer.... Naughty Dog is on record themselves saying there WILL be some sort of multiplayer, they're just not 100% sure exactly what it's going to be.


My bet is on some sort of Horde/Survival mode..... or maybe 2vs2 last man standing...
