Anyway, comparing it to Drake's Fortune and Heavy Rain is pointless, as The Last Of Us has few similarities outside of it being a new IP (Heavy Rain will never see a sequel at that) and having no multi-player (@ Dallinor - Naughty Dog recently said no multi).
It'll do 3 million minimum. Reasons: It's Naughty Dog, it will get Uncharted-style marketing / hype /and likely, word of mouth. Metascore around 85-90 (doesn't matter all that much). |
Where did they confirm no multi? I remember an interview where they said it'll be in there.

There have been talks of some kind of online componenet, but no mulit-player confirmation.

They worded it as 'there will be some kind of multiplayer aspect to the game' so I can't see them going back on that or just having leaderboards or anything. Sony recognizes the increased need for multiplayer to get big revenue these days so I can't imagine Last of Us shipping without one.
