Here's a screenshot:

I did mess around with some settings earlier when trying to connect 2 PCs via ethernet cable, now I don't know what to do to get it to connect wirelessly again.
What do I do? :'(

I got this once, I think your PC's Wifi is glitched out, so update it's drivers, go on device manager and update right click on the wifi device and update drivers.

WIndows says it's up to date

I use a cable anyway, so it's not that big of a deal. Do you know who is the manufacturer of your wi-fi card? |
I wish I could just use the wire, but the only place my PC can go is in my room, and the only place my router can go is in my living room, so I need wireless.
Broadcom is the manufacturer I think.
BTW everyone it's not a problem with the router since my brothers laptop and my PS3 are connecting with no problem.

Have you checked their website to see if they have any drivers? You might try to uninstall your current drivers and install again. |
I'm pretty sure there is nothing I need to update, I fucked around with the settings and that's when is got messed up. I will try anyway though.
then there are two things that might be wrong
1 - windows getting dumb and doesn't recognize your wifi , Windows needs updating
2 - your wifi is broken and you could change it,
... but I have a more... lets say barbaric way of fixing it, if you are using a laptop , open up the wifi area and move the chip a bit left and right if that doesn't work and IF ALL ELSE FAILS AFTER TRYING TOO MANY TIMES! ... believe me on this one, its not a joke xD ,first of all , plug your PC off, and shut it down so you wont get electric shocked, open up that Wifi area with a screw, bring two things made of iron/metal like a screw , and scratch them together for about 5 minutes, then quickly touch them with the wifi chip and you might see a spark of electricity or a "Pop" sound, it will make it work
Could be any number of things. Seems like every couple days i need to go into my device webpage and reboot my wireless internet... and sometimes have to reboot the local.
Though it's only a problem on your specific PC?
I'd check and see if you really do have a local connection with other PCS.
Then I'd try deleting the network and then trying to search for it and create a new connection.

1. Diagnose and repair the connection - If you set up fixed IP's, then your settings would be reset.
2. Remake the network connection if that doesn't work.
If all that doesn't work, your pc's wifi might be broken. Is it build-in?
