Forums - Nintendo - Capcom To Have No Playable Nintendo Games at E3 2012

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/30155

Capcom won't have any games for Nintendo's systems playable at E3 2012, a company representative told us earlier today.

Previously, there have been rumors of a new Resident Evil 3DS game and the localization of Monster Hunter Tri G being unveiled at E3. While this does confirm the games won't be playable, this announcement does not completely rule out the possibility of an announcement about either game at E3 2012.

The only two projects that Capcom is officially developing for Nintendo systems are Monster Hunter 4 and Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney. Both games are supposed to come out on 3DS in Japan later this year.

Last year, Resident Evil: Revelations was Capcom's lone Nintendo project playable at E3.

And I was so looking forward to hands-on impressions of Resident Evil 4: Wii-U Edition.

That's a bit odd.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Playable is the key word.
I dont think they will have anything for the west tough.

I'd be surprised if they had nothing at all for the West for at least one of the systems, but it's odd that they're not bringing even one playable title to the show this year.

If they aren't bringing Tri G over, i'm sending mental death beams into Yoshinori Ono's brain. And i don't care if he's not responsible for that, he's valuable to them, so they'll accede to my demands if i threaten him

They deserve to suffer for their stupidity in not porting RE6 (which is what this implies)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Capcom is probably bitter because Revelations didn't sell better. It was really a genius move by them to unveil Resident Evil 6 a week before Revelations released to make sure that all attention is being taken away from their 3DS game.

...

What's "Revelations"? Is that a Capcpom game?

considering how well the last one sold on the "failing" consoles and how well ORC is doing they are not stupid at all, Capcom doesnt need RE to be on Wii U, but Wii U might need RE. And its 2012 and people still crying about this, still dont have a console to run one of these games???But really im pretty sure that this game will make it to WiiU, this is capcom and RE. There is probably only one or two games in the series that stayed exclusive.

As for Revelations, im sure 6 was announced to bring attention to the 3ds game, im pretty sure people arent saying, "well let me wait  9 months to play the REAL RE" the fanbase is just not there yet

why would they?
They probably want to focus on the vita
