Exactly. You paid for the damn disc but that's not enough? No, you'll have to pay to unlock the content on the disc. What's next, paying to use the content that you paid to unlock on a disc that you paid for? Goddamnit...
On-disc DLC should be free, or better, eliminated (because it makes zero sense to call content on the disc downloadable content.) Fire Emblem Awakening is a good example of how to handle DLC imo. Make the first DLC free for a limited time to avoid raping those buying the game within the first few weeks. Hopefully Nintendo will use that strategy for all their games because I really don't want to pay extra to be able to play the last dungeon in future Zelda games...
