It'll probably be a 1-1.5 hours long conference followed by another 2.5-3 hours dedicated to allow the press to try the games showed during the conference.

I was a bit confused also by this.  I reread it, and is Halo 4 getting a 4 hour presser all for itself or something?  I saw that and saw what looked like nearly a 4 hour gap in the schedule, so I was left wondering about things.

Yes, it seems to say that.

But as I said, this news is from the CNN. So take it with an extra pinch of salt.

(In other words, they don't know how the E3 work).

It helps if you don't think about how fantastic the Pikmin 3 trailer will look, or the fact that Zelda 3DS might be shown, Retro's new game, new Wii U information.... what else.... oh, Animal Crossing 3DS. :D Then there's the launch lineup, which includes a new Mario game. So yeah, if you can refrain from thinking of those then you should be fine.....

Today's game to hype:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last year The Last Guardian was one of my daily hype games, but at the time my excitement was based on trailers and screenshots. Recently I bought and played Ico + Shadow of the Colossus HD (my first time playing those games), and now I know first hand what the developers are capable of. The trailer shown a few years back promises that the player will feel a strong connection with the characters, and normally I'd be a bit skeptical about whether or not they'd be able to pull it off, but having now played their previous games I am a lot more confident. There's no doubt they'll be able to make this game a very moving experience. The only problem we face now is the release date. Announced in 2009, and with release dates continuously being pushed back, it seems like we might never play the game... at least not in the foreseeable future. Also, there's the fact that Game Informer’s news editor Jim Reilly tweeted recently that the game won't be present at E3... XD but I won't let that stop me from hyping it. You can never fully trust pre-E3 statements :P. Perhaps I am in denial, but I can't help but imagine how amazing it'd be if a beautiful cinematic trailer is shown during Sony's press conference. Only 2 more days till we find out.
