8 days hype!!!!!!!!!!

Can't believe it's already that time of the year again... time sure does fly by. ^_^ I'm excited what all of them have to bring to the table this E3!!

Today's game to hype:

Shown at last years E3, New Super Mario Bros. Mii was mostly there to showcase the Wii U controller, though apparently it's destined for far greater things as it turns out that it is indeed going to have a full retail release. In a way though I'm kind of hoping what we saw last year isn't in fact the final product, or even close to it. Sure it looks pretty in HD, but Nintendo can do so much better. What we were shown looks nothing more than just the Wii game with a few new enhancements. The art style is the same that we've seen countless times, and the gameplay doesn't seem to have changed either. Then again I guess if it's not broken, don't fix it. It's just that I'd much prefer to see something else from a new entry in the series. Perhaps another Yoshi's Island... I still think that game looks fantastic, and with the help of Wii U's hardware they could achieve something incredibly beautiful. Or perhaps a side-scrolling Galaxy game ^_^. I just don't want this game to be nothing more than a cash cow. Nintendo has proven countless times that they are very imaginative, so hopefully they put some of it to use with NSMB Mii. Pessimism aside, I am looking forward to whatever they show us during their press conference. Who knows, they might surprise us (fingers crossed >_<).

2D Marios won't look very different from each other unless they add new scenarios. They have a unique style and stay true to that style.

But a new Yoshi Island would be great, I love it's art style!

I am not particularly excited about games we already know. I am excited to see what new games get announced.

definitly looking forward to seeing new 3DS games, curious to see what WiiU games look like and what new offers there will be for current consoles (PS3/360).

It's a bit strange that there's just over a week to go, and yet we haven't gotten many rumours of unannounced games or console information. Normally at this time the internet is buzzing with pre-E3 stuff. Though I do prefer nothing to be leaked till the press conference. I hate it when games get announced just days before the press conference, making the official announcement far less impacting.

I think its one of two things, 1 They have put a load of effort into ensuring that no pics/info leak from the show floor or 2 theres nothing to be leaked. Hopefully its 1.

XD Wasn't the guy who leaked the pic of the new Wii U controller fired and sued? Definitely seems like they're getting more strict. I do hope there are plenty of announcements at this E3, and not like last year which was a big bore >_> .

Yea so excited, Really hoping for Wii U price/date, Exciting Wii U games we don't know of. Some big unannounced games for PS3/Vita. Maybe some new info on the Nextbox. Lets hope its the most exciting E3 in years!
