Hey Myak! would you mind maybe adding the days and time for when the big publishers holds their press conferences?! =D

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

It's a bummer that i have a 90% chance that I will miss Sony's pressconference, depending on if I will sleep early and wake up at between 2 or 3 amm which will likely not happen though. At least I'll make it definitely to Nintendo's conference as it is at 6pm and that the following day will be national day in Sweden.

^_^ Done.

@AlphaCielago - Yeah, the time difference is shit here as well. Microsoft and Nintendo's press conferences are on at 3am and 2am, so I'll need lots of coffee and many cold showers. I normally have a friend over, and we mostly play Xbox games till the conferences start. I don't have anything on the following morning this year though, so I get to sleep in :D ( yay ) . You should try sleeping for a bit, and set your alarm to about 1:30... probably two alarms, as I find one never does the job and I sleep right through it XD.

Today's game to hype:

I'm taking a shot in the dark. It has been almost 3 years since the last handheld Zelda game, and history shows that a new entry normally releases every 2 to 3 years. So what can we expect from the next entry in the series? Well thanks to our informative new timeline, we know that after Ocarina it splits into three different directions... The Era of Light & Dark (LttP), Child Era (TP), and Adult Era (WW). We haven't heard anything from Nintendo, so there really is no way of knowing at this time which one the new game will be placed in, so I guess all we can do is just share our own personal desires of where we'd like it to go. I personally hope the Child Era gets a bit more love. I really enjoy the whole Dark Interlopers/Twili mythology, so I would definitely like another game that fills us in a bit more on that subject. There's also the fact that the Child era is the only one out of the three split timelines that doesn't have a handheld title... so here's hoping they can rectify that ^_^.

Then there's the implementation of 3D. I remember quite a while ago seeing an image of what looked to be Link to the Past in HD. It would be a fantastic way to showcase 3D. You'd have the traditional top down view, but the 3D would give it a bit more depth... and I'd imagine wouldn't be such an eyesore as it would for a 3rd person view. Argh, and the art style. I don't want Zelda 3DS to try to compete with console titles... it should remain simplistic in graphics, but instead rely on its story and characters. It would be awesome to see Twilight Princesses atmosphere and colour palet mixed with the style of LttP... uhh, it makes more sense in my head XD.

Crap, okay sorry about the wall of text. Anyway, if Zelda 3DS is releasing later this year then E3 is the place to announce it. I won't hold my breath for a trailer... but if it does get shown then I'll most definitely squeal, and then run around the room flailing my arms for a while :D.

So yes, please feel free to share your thoughts on what you hope will come from Zelda 3DS n_n.

No pictures yet of the Rooms? Floor? Normally around two weeks before the start they post pictures =p.

I am still having trouble believing the "Official" Timeline. Hero failed? They should release a short film outlining how Link failed for better clarification (possibly an insert in a future Zelda game?)
Plus Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages should not have been in the same timeline.

When they announce the new Zelda for the 3DS, which may or may not happen at this E3 (you say that the last handheld Zelda is from 3 years ago, but you are forgetting the remake of Ocarina from last year), I hope they change the camera position to somewhere between the one from Ocarina and the one from that fake Link to the past.

That way you could see more of the world and would be easier to around, see/face enemies, avoid traps, etc while also have a good 3D effect.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

11 Days yippeee!!! :D

And I finished exams too = double excitement!!!

...But first I gotta sleep, the all-nighters really take it out of you!

It really does. It's like the last few moments of holding on before you make it to the toilet... feels like an eternity.

lol @analogy XD

I don't really take Ocarina of Time 3D into consideration because Nintendo EAD didn't have too big of an involvement in developing the transition to 3D, Grezzo did that. Eiji Aonuma mentioned last year that they are already developing the new game... though who knows when they started. Oh, and I definitely agree with the whole mix of OoT and LttP point of view. Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks is sort of like that.... though I hope Zelda 3DS doesn't have a giant headed Link (that was so horrifying >_<).
