My backlog will kill me. Too many games. Backlogs are one of the things that sucks about being a gamer. I should've become a fan of candy. Much easier to get through a backlog of candy.

THIS! But I have a backlog of sugar-free chewing gum too, I buy a lot of them because I like to change tastes and I hate to remain without!
Anyhow, my games backlog is long and painful. Games I still have to install and start:
Gothic 2 (and Night of the Raven expansion)
Gothic 3
The Witcher
Mass Effect
Mount & Blade
Torchlight
Sacred
Sacred 2
SBK X
Rainbow Six Vegas
GTR
GT Legends
...and many more budget editions found in gaming magazines in the past that I dropped or couldn't even install in the past due to HW and SW incompatibilities...
And Planescape: Torment, Morrowind (with official expansions), Thief III and Temple of Elemental Evil to finish.
And if I don't reinstall windows on the desktop and remain stuck to what my old notebook can run and to Linux and platform-agnostic games (Scorched 3D currently) on the desktop, my backlog will grow even more!
And in addition to the previous list, I have Planescape: Torment, Morrowind (with official expansions), Thief III and Temple of Elemental Evil to finish. Torment is on the notebook and I can play it, but I suspended it for a while despite loving it, maybe too many open quests left me undecided on the order to follow, in that game it matters a lot... Same for Morrowind, where the order matters less, except for the main quest, but it has so many sidequests I got almost lost. ToEE I had it on the old Win ME desktop and it could run on the notebook too, but I wanted to ditch a bard that, being the first one I ever used, I accepted with too low charisma stat, so I can't level her skills up to the max, I want to generate a new one and I'll have to train her in random encounters, having already completed most of the first easiest quests. And having little time, I prefer to finish tormen first.
And when I'll fix the desktop I'll have to force myself to play The Witcher after other games like the Gothic ones, that are considered good or excellent, but that could disappoint just a little bit if played after it.
