Why would it be exclusive?

Well it wouldn't have to be an exclusive to PS3, but if Sony could manage to have exclusive advertising of a console release on top of an E3 conference that makes it appear to be headed only to the PS3. That would cause a lot of buzz for the platform and if Sony was able to get a timed exclusive release that would also do wonders.

You do realise that this is a Blizzard game, right? These games never die off. I found tons of people I could play Diablo 2 with online, several years after the release of that game. A year is nothing in Blizzard terms.

Not until another Blizzard game/update gets people's interest ;p

But seriously, a whole year? Even if it does come out on the PS3, wouldnt you think people would have had the PC version (also the PC version would be alot cheaper as well... by the time the PS3 ver comes out).

Didn't do much harm to the Witcher 2 sales on 360. I highly doubt that this would release only on ps3 if it did eventually come to consoles, its too big a franchise for Microsoft not to want this on their machine.
