From the same movie, when Captain America didn't get anybody's jokes because he was frozen in time since the 50's but he actually understood the "Flying Monkeys" reference from The Wizard of Oz. He was so happy to finally get somebody's reference that he yelled out "I get that reference." That was one of my favorite moments!
I thought you and I were connecting but it was all a lie!

I suppose I am one of the few that was disappointed by Captain America (his own movie). I think it has more to do with me not liking the actor that portrays him (not sure why, just don't think he is a good Captain America) and the overall script. Oh well... I never really liked him that much in the first place (Captain America). He was alright in Marvel vs Capcom but he still can't compare with most X-men (can't even compare to Gambit in my opinion). I believe that was probably one of the worse movies done for a superhero from Marvel. I haven't seen Thor yet but I believe I'd probably enjoy Thor more than Captain America. I wonder why...
Screw your rules!! I'll say whatever the hell god damn I want to whoever I sweet damn jesus want to!

I was a little let down by his movie (and the Avengers, too) but it was to be expected. In the comics, Captain America was the ulitmate ass kicker. He has a plan for every situation, never backs down, and never loses. I was wondering how they would smoothly transition him from being a scrawny kid with good morals to being the baddest tactition/figher on the planet. Answer: The didn't. He did have a lot of kick ass moments in The Avengers and he did show a bit of potential to eventually become their leader. I'd still say that Iron Man was the team's MVP though. Probably because his movies made the most money.
The movie was fun but the enemies and their threat wasn't the center stage. The Avengers and how they interact with each other was more or less the focus of the movie. I'm not mad about that, though. Seeing them have their pissing matches was great. I felt like a kid for two and a half hours. Anyway, Movie Cap was decent. Comic book Cap is awesome!
