Michigan is pretty nice.

Correct. The best city there is Detroit. Move there, Rowen.

Cut the shit.  I was talking Northern Michigan.

Lol, this must be a joke. The trees, the plains in the back, the uni campus to the left and older buldings (The royal vic?). Montreal is not a Skyscraper sity, that's pretty much all there is to the skyscrapers.

It isn't small by any mreans, but it isn't just skyscrapers. Matter of fact, the picture is taken from the top of a mountain smack in the middle of the island of montreal.

Why not just move to North Korea

If your serious about moving to New England please do not move to Connecticut.
We raised our taxe all around and are still in $200+ million in debt this coming fiscal year. It's also one of the few states where the population is either stagnant (or close to being) or decreasing. Overall It's a expensive state to live on, and if you don't make good money here you won't survive well.

I bought a home here because this is my home state, but I would never recommend anyone coming here from out of state or country.

Oh and top of all that, we get crazy weather. We usually have nasty winters and mild summers. We also had a nasty snow storm in October that basically caused massive damage because of all the leaves still on the trees. I spent $400+ just to fix the wire running to the house and I'm sure to spend even more to clean up the trees/debris n the back (which still sits there). Yeah the weather is crazy.

It's just that simple.

Soo... Rowan... the basis of this thread is... you were wrong in your decision of wanting to move to USA.

lol, wow.

Move to canada over the US?

Sure, its got some nice places, a ton of frenchies, and umm.... 8 months out of the year you'll be suffering from cabin fever because its so freaking cold, dark.

Who would move to a place where you are stuck indoors most of the year?

I havent seem much ever come out of canada.

You should move someplace awesome in the US.

Move to the Los Angeles/Hollywood area and basically insert yourself into the movie scene and see and do things you could only imagine doing.

Move to Florida, the Kissimmee area for so much to do its insaine.

Tons of happening places in america and WAY more opportunity than in Canada.

Just my opinion.

What? Kissimmee is crap! The whole east side of it is trashed.

Move to L.A.
You will see there is nothing special.
