Besides, even if one was better than the other, it wouldn't be by that much. I wouldn't consider moving to another country for no good reason.

I'd say ask again in a few years. The state of a country, and specific regions of it, can change a lot in that time -- and so can you. You may be looking for something different in a few years.

Naturally, the quality of life in a certain region is more or less directly proportional to the costliness of living in that region. So you could move to California, where the weather is gorgeous, the sports teams are always contenders, and everything important pretty much takes place in your back yard, but everything is ridiculously expensive compared to most of the rest of the country.

So, again, where you'll want to go will depend greatly on your financial situation at the time.

I'm going to Canada and the US over summer. I'm going to be in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, then in New York. I'll report back if you want :P

Of those I'd rather go into Indycar but F1 is still way at the top of my list.
