I am prdoducing a short documentary for a university project and I need to get access to a good variety of copyright free music. I

It needs to be copyright free because it is going to be broadcast and so I can't use the music without permission from the owner of the music.

Hence why I need it to either be copyright free or have the owners permission to use it for free (seeing as I have £10 to my name) preferably techno or electronica though

Just use any music, who cares, we watch movies with the class at school at times, and apparently that's illegal.

I can't, it has to be legit with the owners permission to broadcast it once. I can't just use any music, I need to be able to back up that I got permission to use it or I will get into trouble with ofcom

Idk about copyright free but amazon has some free downloads.

Some of the albums are 100% free to download but you may need to get the author/composers permission to use for your documentary. Contact the artist directly via the site and see what they say.

Failing that google "royalty free music for broadcast" or something similar
