I have been holding off on playing Uncharted 3 because I want to optimize the experience with a 3D tv and glasses?

Would I be smarter just to play it now?  Uncharted 2 (perhaps tied with littlebigplanet and metal gear solid 4) was argubly my favorite ps3 game.

Depends on when you are getting a 3D-TV lol.

Personally I think the Uncharted games are poor but I still want to experience them all as interactive movies so I am waiting for Uncharted 3 to drop in price. I picked up Uncharted and Uncharted 2 for dirty cheap a couple of years ago.

That depends on when your getting the TV and how much you what to play the game, if your getting the TV next year just play it now. It's a great game and 3D wont change that

I waited bout a month after U3 release coze i was planning to visit my brother anyways (has a 3D tv).
And I'm glad i did :)

Like Newcloud said, the game is great with or without 3D.
Play it now and save your 2nd playthrough to when you eventually get your 3D tv (assuming your not getting one any time soon)

I played it first without 3D and then tried it with and I definitely prefer without 3D.

To me 3D causes some extra shimmering, ghosting, and other visual artifacts. Anti Aliasing is removed and resolution also takes a hit. Here is a forum that discussing the 3D is some of the recent PS3 games. Apparently Uncharted 3 is one of the better ones. I've only tried that and Assassins Creed so far.

Depends on how much you value 3D. Uncharted 3 is a very enjoyable game and I can't see myself waiting months to play it for something as trivial as 3D.
