i doubt the main series will go to consoles, nintendo has said that it is special to have it on a portable device to take everywhere. Although i hope and pray for a good console game, wii owners have been shafted by the pokemon series.

As far as action figures and dlc go i am not a fan

It's not going to happen. Nintendo is not known to provide the obvious to the consumers; plus they need Pokémon to continue 3DS' sales momentum

I don't think Nintendo will go with a full blown Pokemon game because Game Freak has already stated several times that Pocket Monsters is a pocket title. Game Freak does not want a full home console game coming to any Nintendo platform.

However I think this is not only inevitable but a no brainer. I suspect that a Pokemon Rumble title is almost certain if Nintendo doesn't put Genus Sonority on the job. I would be pleasantly unsurprised if a Pokemon XD sequel launched with WiiU from our friends at Genus Sonority.

You would have the Pokemon found in the game obviously. But you want to catch additional Pokemon you go to the store and buy a Poke ball. Inside each Poke ball is a random Pokemon who can be brought into the game you are playing. You want that Pikachu you need to buy Pokeballs till you get him or trade a Pokemon figure with a friend.

I can see the implications for this outside of gaming. We used to have to link our GameBoys to trade Pokemon. The new generation of kids can bring their figures to school and trade their Pokemon in person.

This business model could be a huge money maker. Nintendo cannot let customers know what Pokemon they are buying. That is imperative the kid or parent or other consumer will keep buying till they get that coveted figure. So instead of selling a single 9$ figure you sell 5-20. This is a huge potential golden goose!

Perfect. I love it! Normally you can have 6 pokeballs with pokemon in your inventory so, that would fit easily on the tablet. Any empty ones can be reused over and over again till you fill it. But you can always go to the store and buy some random pokemon in pokeballs. You might end up with way too many pokeballs you don't need, but they make it so you can trade with friends physically, like kids use to do with cards, then that's fine. Maybe they will have a way to trade online with friends pokemon that are only digital. But either way there seems to be great potential. I just hope it isn't only a stadium game. If it is they need to let the players do more than just battle. A stadium should only be the interface for online battles, not a game itself.

Well considering that Nintendo has repeated ad nauseum that Pokemon RPG's are only a good fit for handhelds, I'd say this is extremely unlikely to ever happen.

Lets stick with getting a Pokemon on the 3DS First.

Actually, they have asked for that too, however, I have been pushing back on that as the game itself looks meh. At least Pokemon is a good IP and that one I would cave in and buy for them.
