They weren't the first to have a gaming camera.

The main Microsoft IP is a FPS. Halo wasn't the first console FPS.

Joyride. Kart Racer. Mario Kart.

Analogue stick - Nintendo. Dual analogue - PlayStation.

Forza was made to be a direct competitor to Gran Turismo.

Avatars were made to be Xbox's answer to Mii's

I think that's enough stuff.

not like sony is oozing with ideas either

@Enditall
But Nickolodean is not a 3rd party dev so your point is invalid.

Im sure they could. More than enough characters and a history of copying, much like Sony.

you wouldn't know because people dont care when a company copies unless its SONY

so here is a few

M$ copied PlayStation with its guide button. they took the Playstation home button and called it the Guide button

M$ used analog sticks which Nintendo did 1st

M$ made a camera which i believe the Dreamcast did 1st

stuff that ONLY Sony gets criticed for

huhh? am i stupid right now or was this microsofts idea?

yea i think you are just stupi.....

okay i want you to take a look at this picture

now i want you to ask yourself when the PSP released and when the 360 released

i also want you to ask yourself why you actually thought that the Home button was M$'s idea

maybe its because nobody cares when other compaies copy UNLESS ITS SONY!

;)

The Rare stable really helps them in that regard. Without it i would say definitely not

But on the other hand, let's recall that the original Smash Bros had 12 characters, one of whom was the one-shot Ness

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Don't see them making one. Why? 2 reasons.
1. Not enough characters.(that people would care about)
2. The 360 is an FPS console.(with an occassional Western RPG fetish). The market for this kind of game just isn't big enough and not worth the investment.
3. There just isn't demand for this kind of game on 360.

I agree with Salnax that a downloadable $15 is possible .I could see that happening.

not this again, fps may be popular, but us xbox owners buy all kinds of games

I never said that Nickelodeon was a 3rd party dev now did i? this would only enforce what im asking ;)

why would 3rd party devs put their games on THQ's??

@KillerzX
Don't be offended by them. At least 360 gamers buy games. Not the same can be claimed for the competitors.

Absolutely not. The Sony crossover fighter looks and sounds terrible, and they have more characters than Microsoft does. Sony doesn't have anything as iconic as the Chief, but they have more middle of the road characters. Marcus Fenix is a ridiculous character (seriously WTF?) and doesn't belong to MS but he would fit a game like this better than someone like Drake, who will just look like some generic douche.

I mean what is MS going to do? License some generic soldiers from Call of Duty? Add a sports car from Forza?

The Sony fighter looks bad enough, and comes off as a desperate clone. Only Nintendo can pull it off because only they have a stable of truly iconic gaming legends. Only the Chief comes close to Nintendo's character's, and that's one guy.

The characters that defined the PlayStation brand (Solid Snake, Lara Croft, Crash Bandicoot, characters from Final Fantasy, Resident, Evil, Tekken, etc.) all the really important ones don't belong to Sony.

What does any of this have to with the topic at hand?

Who knows...

The day we can have a Sony or Microsoft first party thread that doesn't end up derailing with shit that has nothing to do with the topic I'll go back to believing in Santa Claus.
