The fact that this thread's title reads only "express your displeasure" and not also "express your pleasure" immediately makes the entire thread a troll thread. This was clearly a thread made for people who are pissed to vent lol

Calling Playstation All Stars a clone of SSB is just as futile as calling KOF a clone of Street Fighter. One made a great formula popular, the other used said formula with their own unique vision and character roster. It happens all the time. Furthermore, SSB wasn't even the first game to THIS FORMULA.

Meh, some people are just stupid.

futile? That's not the word you're looking for. Stop trying to sound clever.

KOF is nothing like a street fighter, they play very differently, completely differently in fact.

It would be fair to assumee from what we know so far, SSMB and PAS are much more similar than that.

The fact you formulate such an argument discredits your honesty and shows a bias or a lack of intelligence. Which one would it be?

Well, kof and SF had their own story of pointing the finger at each other for copying.

Playing defensively in SSB doesn't work at all, because it draws a 3 vs. 1 battle as soon as somebody notices that someone is being a coward. Notorious cowards will be ganged up upon until they've either learned their lesson or start crying and quit the game.

It still happens and people can win by picking and choosing their battles instead of trying to dominate everyone.

No, cowards have no choice in picking their fights. The other three players make a gentlemen agreement and while a coward can run, he can't escape from three people. The only way the coward could win is if he was a good player. But if that was the case he wouldn't need to play cowardly to begin with.

Two players go after him and try to beat the crap out of him while the third cuts off the escape route. Coward loses and either learns or cries. It's a foolproof strategy.

Your analogy falls apart if we are dealing with four cowards. In other words, it's not as simple as you make it out to be.

Sony guys trying to legitimate the obvious plagiarism..........lol

Yea, it is blatantly a knock off, but so are all games that fall in the same genre to a point. When Doom first cam out it was revolutionary, but other FPS's soon followed and they were more than likely considered rips. Also, it's a typical business strategy. One business thinks of something, then others improve it. So it may be cheap, but it happens often. I think it will be a good game regardless. I'm just afraid critics are going to compare every little detail to Super Smash Bros., thus resulting in some poor scores.

I wouldn't say it is "improving" on SSB. I would say it is tweaking it.

Yea, that would probably be more accurate to say, but even a tweak should still make it decent I think.

To be completely honest, I expected it would be a SSB clone, but was hoping it would be something unique. So while I wasn't suprised, I was still quite disappointed.
