Looks pretty interesting, I like the "unique" characters.
What would you name this game? | |||

| The Monster Wars: The Olympics | 2 | 28.57% | |
| Death Race | 1 | 14.29% | |
| I'll suggest a name of my own on the thread | 0 | 0% | |

I like the concept, good luck and remember, one person can't do it all,it would be good to get help were you can find it. that's my take on it.
Why aren't you making something from scratch? Scripting for someone else's game doesn't make you a developer.
People will be more impressed by a simple, well designed 2D game than what you're doing.

Edit: Let me tell you the truth. If you have to do 6 posts in a row in your own thread to keep it alive, no one is interested or reading it. It's fine to have a personal project but when it's so badly made and badly presented (that website..) you're not going to be able to get people to follow your progress.
Wait until you have something substantial to show (characters and story and ideas DO NOT COUNT, they are cheap) and then post it in emulation of a professional devblog, rather than a 1995 flashback personal page.
| tolu619 said: I don't get it. What's so horrible about comic sans? I didn't change the orange color but I enlarged the font as that seemed to be the major complaint. About the codename, I'll explain it after I hear people's theories on how I came about that codename. |
It's a font that a lot of people use in situations where it really does not work (in the body text of a blog that isn't made for ten year olds is one of them). As such it has probably become the most hated font in the world.

@Millenium, thanks. @oldschoolfool, I'm not really doing it completely alone, but I don't have to take anything from anyone. I'm telling the sound and graphics guys exactly what to do, and I'm doing almost everything else.
@Soleron, I wasn't trying to keep this thread alive, I was trying to let anyone that's interested know that I've updated the blog. The google analytics on the blog is enough for me to know that a large part of my audience find my blog from this website. I am not scripting for someone else, the whole point of doing this game is the fact that I'm tired of waiting for the slow teams I am a part of at school. I'm a part of two different game studios comprised entirely of students in my university. Neither team has made as much progress on their game as I have and I hope to have a gameplay trailer out by November, and the actual game out by March. Finally, it's not just the game. The blog is my way of getting people's opinions on the things I'm learning to do or just sharing special events in my life with the world. For example, I created an E3 RSS reader in four hours and put it up to be downloaded for free. People will say "You should have added so and so features..." which will help me the next time I want to make a similar app.
@Rath, thanks. I've stopped using comic sans.

It looks like your blog site is an old Geocities page from the late 1990's.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
