Forums - Sony - Don't worry PSVITA owners, Huge games in development.

I'm not convinced. If they dont have these big announcements by E3, he is just trying to build hype based on nothing. "Big titles" is always open to interpretation.

I understand that this can take a while. Every new system begins somewhat bare. I just wish they will hurry up and make the PSOne classics compatible...that would keep me busy.

Well Sony would have to be really stupid to have not been shouting at Sqaure Enix to get working on Final Fantasy, so while it is not out of the question, the games will come of course

What I really want first of all is for them to bring across UMD passport, or at the very least allow me to play my PSone games on my Vita, or else I am going to run out before too long

See that is why I am still on the fence about the Vita purchase at this time. It doesn't seem to have strong enough library for my tastes. The main reason for me to get Vita right now is PSP titles and Gravity Daze, and I need more than that.

Between the 3DS, PS3, and even Wii (Xenoblade, and Last Story), I really don't seem to have strong reason to pick up the device, but as soon as one of the said big titles is announced and RELEASED, it will be a no brainer for me. (I'm not into Western Titles on the handheld).

well you might as well wait at least the 6 weeks to E3. right now i'd say rayman is probably the best game out and you could really just get that for ps3 or whatever anyways.  at least the other side of E3 we'll know if things are looking up or we're headed for a dead system.

I'll believe it when I see it personally. Of course a Vita dev is going to big up the struggling device. They're hardly going to say 'We're not happy with the Vita, and we don't think you should buy one and our game either', because it's bad business. It's only logical to big it up; they'll get more sales.

And it's obvious games are being made for the Vita. Good games. But it's silly they haven't announced them yet. Unless they're going to release huge game alongside the WiiU launch, like how the 3DS got Monster Hunter the same week as the Vita launch...

Does it not strike you that there's a problem when the 'best game out' is a game avaliable on 5 other platforms (Wii, PS360, 3DS, PC)?

I know that multiplat games with the HD twins is advantageous, but, if given the choice, most people would stick with the home console version. And that's the issue. Not enough high-quality exclusives, and there's few massive-sellers on the horizon either...

James Mielke... wow I remember him from EGM! He was a very nice guy, the comedian of the bunch (his nickname was the Milkman!).

But, show, don't talk! The clock is really ticking in japan... MH4 is the deadline, imo.

The Vita needs some new Jrpgs now. I don't want no stupid port from other platform or remake of a 3 years old game with some added touch screen function.

Of course it will get great games, everything is just beginning now. It's a first time I want Sony to concentrate on a portable platform on E3, not on PS3.

well duh it's a problem.  it's the same stupid problem i have with the wii U -- i couldn't give a fuck-less about darksiders 2, batman AC, COD, and all the other ps360 mutli-plats going to the wii U.  when monster hunter 4 went to the 3DS that was probably the biggest blow to vita that nintendo could to and it's obviously working as vita is tracking really low, especially in japan where psp was actually popular.

what i'm sort of waiting for is all of the transfarring titles sony once talked about.  they made it look soo simple to move games and save files back and forth and trust me ... that isn't the case.

but for all the things not going for vita there are still good games.  sony gave me 4 free games (in addition to welcome park) and the AR games are pretty slick.  i have a personal advantage in the field and i'm playing the back catalog of psp games.  papton is amazing.  VC2 i've been salivating for for years.  but we're still clearly in "early adaptor" phase.  things are no worse/better than the early days of 3DS suck-age which is way acevil might as well wait.

Wasn't worried at all but this is nice to hear I guess.
