1. IGN confirmed it.
2. What? My list includes likely games coming to the Wii, even if they're not the one announced in NP. I'm taking in account that the Matsuno x Monolith Soft game is the one being announced, thus not adding that in my list.

IGN didn't confirm it. Matt said in a podcast that he was 99% sure it would happen at some point. That's not confirmation.

The NP secret RPG might be Seiken Densetsu 5, but I doubt it. A new SD is coming to Wii, I just don't know if this is what they're hyping.

There was going to be a new Xenosaga (Pt. 4) for the PS3 before Nintendo bought Monolith. I don't see why they can't make a new Xenosaga for Wii.

Ugh, no there wasn't Soriku.  Where did you hear this BS?  Xenosaga was originally supposed to be a 6 part series, but was selling so poorly that halfway through the production of Xensoaga III they decided that it was going to be the last game, and then completely changed the plot of 3 to try and make it a viable ending to the series.  Xenosaga is done.  It ended crappily, because it wasn't supposed to end at 3, but it's been concluded, closed, and locked.  There will be no more games in the series.

Hmm...actually Namco was going to bring a Xenosaga to PS3 if there was enough fan demand (but this was before Nintendo bought Monolith). I know I read something else, but maybe it was just rumored?

Like I said, that's complete BS.  I don't know where you heard it, but the franchise was declared dead by the developers before 3 was even released.

Super Mario RPG 2 Petition

Obviously - it would sell.. so why not - I was a bit disappointed about Paper Mario (I liked it but I just thought SMRPG was the greatest).

I hate how we have to wait so many years (is it 10 yrs since SMRPG came out?) for any little crumbs of knowledge or speculation that might lead us to a trail of something bigger - it's like they want to tease us with this and I hate the lack of credibility with some websites that only care for their hits.

I also want to note that the Bioware Sonic RPG; one of the screen shots looks like the art direction was inspired by SMRPG - did you notice the castle pic ? Maybe I am just delirious with excitement and stupidity.





Understanding is the key.
