"Satoru Shibata"???

I guess they screwed up on the cloning process...

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

Well, Epic Mickey animates better than I thought, but it's nothing, err, Epic yet.

Heroes of Ruin is looking very good. It's definitely on the maybe list!

I'm actually thinking the same thing! I'll keep an eye on HoR to see how it's shaping up!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

August? That's an awfully short build up...

Well, you should be aware of how awful 3DS sales are outside of Japan. I am expecting a worldwide release in August.

But yeah, judging from the screenshots it looks like the game is rushed out of the doors. The graphics aren't particularly detailed. Also, the lack of a trailer only adds to the impression of it being rushed.

The worldwide August release has pretty much been confirmed already.

Oddly no mention of Pokemon Conquest. Might there be a Nintendo-game game that doesn't come out in Europe?

Watched the French Nintendo Direct, but besides Pokemon BW2 there was nothing exciting : mostly things we already knew and more Mario :( I expected more, like details on Fire Emblem or an announcement for Beyond the Labyrinth (where is it?)

In comparison, the Japanese Nintendo Direct (which I saw on the Nintendo e-shop) was 3 million times more interesting, with notably Rune Factory 4 and Project X Zone. A sequel for Senran Kagura has also been announced this weekn, while the West hasn't seen the first one yet.

A shame Nintendo of Europe is delivering games for its traditional public and nobody else.

I was right to buy a Japanese 3DS.

I hope Satoru II will continue to hold presentations! NoE needs to show off more, especially when they are as awsome as they've been lately!

It looks like the Wii version. What did you expect? It's a handheld Mario. It looks perfectly fine. They also added Raccoon Mario - shouldn't you cry?

Also, the lack of a trailer only adds to the impression of them having a big e3 reveal for the game...

The way you (and Malstrom) interpret these things is so twisted someone should make a clinical study about it.

OT: I like gold. Really excited for the game and the fact it releases so close to 3D Land can only mean one thing: Iwata knew Miyamoto wouldn't make 3D Mario sell. Poor guy never had a chance

The Wii version wasn't pushing anything in terms of graphics, aside from a few exceptions. It's really not so much about what I personally think about these graphics, because I can live with them. It's about other people who will stay away, because the game looks cheap to them. NIntendo is wasting sales potential here, that's my main concern with the game feeling rushed.

Although NSMB Wii looked barren at E3 2009 and had more detailed graphics in the final release a few months later, so improvements aren't out of the question.

TBH, we've only seen...4(?) images of the game. When we see videos at E3 (and the inevitable 3D version on the eShop), then we can judge. It looks like a return to basics, which is always a good sign!

What I'm more concerned with is not announcing/confirming the EU launch date at Direct...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I expect some of the games with a very rough release date (like Fire Emblem) to get a more specific timeframe. Not the exact date, but at least the month.

Trailers and gameplay videos of Fire Emblem, Monster Hunter Tri G, Luigi's Mansion 2, Mario Tennis and Paper Mario will be overshadowed by bombastic first footage of Super Mario Bros. 3DS.

And the super special surprise will be Nintendo publishing Etrian Odyssey IV in Europe later this year. Hell yeah!

Seems you were quite excited Rol.

I believe the backgrounds are going to be better in motion... look at the Golden mario pic, the background bricks look like they could be moving. It's a 2D game, but Nintendo will put some 3D things to take advantage of the 3D in 3DS... well, maybe not too.
