Basically what's happened:

Prof "claimed" lie detector role

Basil doesn't seem to be answering the question "are you a townie"

LOTS of riddle analysis

I've been arguing with Truck and Wonk

...and the rest is just filler, really :)

What is the lie detector role for?

It basically means you can message the host at night saying "is this person telling the truth?" and they'll get an answer the next morning - very powerful role.

However, it turns out that I failed, and Prof never actually claimed this role

I don't understand how you could pass something and the talk about it so many time without commenting or even trying to figure it out for yourself. To have to then ask someone else to get it for you. You give me the impression you are only paying minimal attention to the game and wanted to look like you were participating and are now making up excuses.

I was analysing  it that whole time, but I wanted to see it again to make sure I didn't miss anything 

and instead of going back to any of the many times you saw it you felt it necciary to tell us you had read the thread and wanted to read it again.

So did you miss anything the 6th plus time you read it?

Oh it happens a lot - apparently it happens more when I'm town-aligned, which seems to match up with this round quite well xD
