I have been reading the thread, but can someone post up Basil's riddle? I want to try figuring it out :)

Why didn't you try and figure it out the first time you saw it? Or the second? Why not the third time. It was right in front of you, people were talking about it. Or how about the 4th time? no? The 5th? the fragments people had qouted?

I don't understand how you could pass something and the talk about it so many time without commenting or even trying to figure it out for yourself. To have to then ask someone else to get it for you. You give me the impression you are only paying minimal attention to the game and wanted to look like you were participating and are now making up excuses.

I don't understand how you could pass something and the talk about it so many time without commenting or even trying to figure it out for yourself. To have to then ask someone else to get it for you. You give me the impression you are only paying minimal attention to the game and wanted to look like you were participating and are now making up excuses.

I was analysing  it that whole time, but I wanted to see it again to make sure I didn't miss anything

Like someone said, make your posts per page to 50 or hundred, and it is highly advised for you to read through... if you are lazy - read through it...

Don't you get it? I'm NOT a lie detector. All I said was "there is often a role called the lie-detector who does X"

The whole point is that in the face of a possible lie detector, he didn't answer the question.

Prof "claimed" lie detector role

Basil doesn't seem to be answering the question "are you a townie"

LOTS of riddle analysis

I've been arguing with Truck and Wonk

...and the rest is just filler, really :)

You just don't get it, do you?

I think you got caried away with your "hints", that you painted yourself in a corner, limiting your choices of fakeclaims by stating your Pokemon could roll and that your role was connected to your Pokemon, realizing this you didn't want to give out any other hints that would further limit you in your choice which is why you refused to answer a question that in reality would have no impact if you were telling the truth.

For the record, this post gives me a semi-town vibe on you, so I'm not sure what to think now

For the record, you're giving me a headache.

I had got it at first, when you first posted it, but as the trails got more complex I lost track. That's what happened.
