There's a role called the jester. I'm not saying you are jester, I'm just using him as an example to try to explain how derailing you behavior is to the game. The Jester's job is to be as confusing as possible. That includes lies, answering questions with questions, misleading others, etc. You are doing all of that. The Jester wins by getting lynched. Now, that does not, in any way or form, stop the town from lynching him simply because the jester is that detrimental to town's progress. As long as the Jester lives, the town is annoyed and distracted. They will lynch him even if they knew he was a Jester, that's how much of a problem they are.
