No, you are never required to reveal your alignment. That's not in any of the rules we read in the wiki. If he's doing that he's playing a trick on you. It could be a townie trick, or a mafia trick, but ultimately you don't need to reveal, I don't think so.

You're not required by the rules to answer to answer but since all he's asking is if you're a good guy or a bad guy, not wanting to answer doesn't look too good for you.

I don't know if we all have special moves, but what I do know is that the move is mapped to a role, and that is randomly generated, so never mind what I said pezus.
