That post where he says "I need a coach too", just seems really out of place for a mafia to say.
Since everyone has been talking like scum can talk during the day, and nobody had really mentioned otherwise (at least not enough for someone skimming to notice), I would gather one of two things.
A) mafia can talk during the day and he isn't mafia
B) he is mafia but mafia can't talk during the day

However, saying B would be quite a risk to take since he would be giving out info about his team (when everyone else would be saying otherwise) I can't imagine that being the case.

There is a third alternative, but it would require him being more experienced (this scenario would also be scum).

Not much of a significance though since he is a noob and hasn't really contributed in any way.

The two mistakes were in this game buddy. EDWOP (1), and not bolding your vote (2).

I told you, when I played it the first time it was with friends, we didn't have any fancy vocabulary and tactics it was all noobs just having fun at a random party.

The knowledge I got came from watching especially game 39, and one other game (I can't remember which) where I was supposed to replace baalz. The threads are so damn long I can't remember finding the links, but I have seen these kinds of things in the last games and believe me this is the last position I wanted to find myself in (1st day lynchee). Make the right choice final-fan and just keep asking me questions I will explain.

Mmkay, so what about the part where you shifted your explanations before settling on a single story?  Why should we believe you weren't just making something up and altered it to sound better?

Unless you really really like having only 10 posts on a page I storngly recommend -- I urge you -- to alter your profile settings, if you haven't already, to show 50 or 100 posts per page.  I like 50 myself, because 100 posts on a page can mean some ridiculously long pages where it can be hard to track down a post even if you remember the page it was on. 

Maybe it's just me, but I don't know if I could even play this game if I had to wade through 100 pages @ 10 posts each instead of 20@50 (and that's not even a long game here).

All the true veteran VGC users will use 50 posts per page, as that was the standard back in the day. Not sure what the standard is now, but I agree. I can't imagine having to switch to the next page after only 10 or so posts.

Honestly I'm starting to think that little tip should be added to the game rules since so many people seem not to know it. Just to be noob friendly.

I feel like a lot of people are getting too caught up that HD "lied". I don't myself see it as a lie as I theorized off the thread that he might have been watching our games, which he later confirmed.

I would say that if anything is suspicious about him, it would be his "threatening us" with the possibility of a mislynch, which is always a factor. That and my conversation with him left me feeling unfulfilled as some of his answers were never justified.

Again, to summarize, I think there is far better to be suspicious of him about, and I think the "lie" is a bit too convenient of a motive for questioning him.
