1) Mafia can target someone at random and kill your sibling. Since we don't know who your sibling is, doctor is unreliable at protecting them. Knowing this, doctor isn't going to waste time on a noob who *might* be targeted, the doc will protect people who know what they're doing, like me, linkz, and others, or people who have hinted at being power roles. Therefore, mafia, knowing that the power roles and good players will likely be protected, they will go after a noob (or anyone else), for that matter, and likely stumble into your sibling. Even worse if there are two kills, you are doubly likely to die. If we know who your sibling is, mafia can presume he is likely to be protected (even if he is not) and will have to target someone else.

What if he's not a noob, then yes I lied. I may have lied because it's important for town to conceal the identity of my sibling. When I roleclaimed, I panicked because I was under heavy attack. It was a compromise, but in the process we've learned a hell of alot about hatmoza. It was well worth it.

2) You are a sibling. Your partner is likely also vanilla since siblings are = masons. Your power role is that you have a better grasp on who is town and who isn't. That's something a lot of us don't have. However, there is also likely other power roles who are more important to kill than you. The mafia is not going to risk being blocked simply to kill someone with no deadly power role (like a cop's power role). Sure 2 for 1 is a good kill, but right now, you are right, your real enemy is the voters. And if you get lynched, that's 100% chance that you die, instead of 50%. Get it?
3) What if we go to lynch someone and that person is your sibling?

2) @bold, yeah that's why I was so terrified at first. But now that some people posted reason and town has figured things out, I'm more confident that doctor will protect us from a 2 for 1 kill.
3 is possible, but it's 1 chance of probably I don't know, assuming a 4-man team anti-town and maybe 2 3rd parties, plus not targetting me, minus Basil, that's 1 chance in 19-8. 1 chance out of 11 of hitting my sibling. Good luck. And that's not to say the doctor may anticipate and also chose to protect the most likely candidate. It's all up in the air at that point.

1) It DOESN'T MATTER becuase if you are protected, then they will just target someone else, and that person will likely be your sibling and then you'll die ANYWAY. Look at it from a mafia standpoint, say me and linkz are mafia.
-Hey linkz let's target happy. -No you fool, Happy is going to be protected! - So what? -So then we'll lose a kill, let's kill trucks instead, he's a good player and probably has a role too. -OK that sounds good, let's kill trucks
The doctor: Derpdederp: I will protect happy because he's a sibling.
Morning: Someone is dead, doctor picked the wrong person. (Unless trucks is your sibling, in which case, now you are both dead)
2) Your thinking is so short term! We might have a lynch today, but whatabout tomorrow!?! You will be just as suspicious, and unless we get some great info, you will be up for lynch AGAIN.
3) I said "what if we LYNCH your teammate" not what if he's killed at night.
