True. But not every Japanese company, I think 3rd party Japanese devs really failed this generation, which sucks because I love Japanese games.

Surely it must of occurred to Sony's hardcore followers by now that hardly anybody dislikes Nintendo from the Microsoft and Sega camps.

However......... Sony are disliked by many Sega, Nintendo and Microsoft followers.

And THAT....... is why Sony will never beat Nintendo in any of these gaming polls.

For me, it's a tie between Nintendo and Sony as they both bring things to the table that I desire. Also, I owe my childhood to Nintendo =P

If you look at the sales histories for the last two generations of consoles. among the top 20 games on a system, 75% to 80% of the games on a Nintendo system are first-party, compared to 20%-25% for Sony and Microsoft.

This means that Nintendo has a greater reach and following for its games. The other consoles must depend upon third parties for their success.

None. If you make a good game I will buy it regardless of the platform. If you're ignorant enough to think only one specific company makes said good games, guess what category you fall under.

Nintendo because theyr games imo all have a unique charm to them. Also I love how they do theyr things and dont give a f*** about what others do.

IMO all Nintendo games are unique in theyr own way while for me first party games from Sony and MS come and go and I truly care for rly few of them. (I dont mean that they are bad or that I dont enjoy them, only that few of them have that ''special'' ingredient that makes a game truly memorable for me).

Also I always buy a Nintendo console for theyr first party games no matter what the console is or how much 3rd party support its getting. While when I choose to buy a other console, first party game are never the only factor, I look at the hardware/price and to be honest the only reason I bought a PS3 this gen was because of the awfull lack of 3rd party on the Wii, so It was mainly the 3rd party games that convinced me to buy a PS3 alongside my Wii, 1st party Sony games were only a bonus.

Finally, I'm pretty angry at Nintendo for making such a weak system this gen, but when I look at my top 5 games this gen, easely 3or4 of these games (and probably 6or7 of my top 10) are Nintendo first party games on Wii, so all is forgiven :P
