Still a fucking great accomplishement and mad props to the devs! It was awarded with a 9/10 on the site and the Meta is shaping up at 91 thus far.

Waiting for the enhanced PC version myself :3

hmmm Crysis 2 looks way better than Killzone 3, Uc2 or God of War 3 so these guys are biased its quite obviouss.

God of War 3 looks amazing in some parts and really mediocre in others, the titans parts are indeed some of the best graphics i´ve ever seen.

Witcher 2, Uncharted 3 and Gears of War 3 along with RdR are the best looking game in my opinion.

Firstly, Witcher 2 looks wonderful (on PC and now X360).

Clearly, one of us is mad. I played Crysis 2 on maximum settings on PC and wasn't impressed. Tech is great (although a step down from Crysis 1 in some ways), but art is horrendous. Killzone 3, on the other hand, is fantastic.

Also, I wouldn't pay much attention to what gaming publications have to say. What do they really know about graphics tech?

Quite funny to label them biased when I've been a member there since 08 and can tell you that they are VERY professional. GameReactor is scandanavias biggest gaming mag.

Here's the article they wrote on the best looking games just after Crysis 2 released. They claimed Gears 3 is better than Crysis 2 but still behind the Top 4 PS3: And now the same for The Witcher 2 which would make THEIR list something like:

In general: UC, KZ and GoW all have engines optimized for the PS3 so it really isn't all that "omfg" now is it? Imagine if Microsoft got one of their devs to actually work on an engine instead of re-using the same ones eg. UE3 for the Gears games and Cryengine being on all 3 platforms (PC, PS3, 360). Its not rocket science that an engine optimized for one console --if done properly-- will have an advantage.

But yeah, you can claim they're biased sure.

Lol i dont care about that MAG since they are alone in the world... Even IGN (wich sucks) said Crysis 2 was the best looking when came out, i care about Digital foundry and those have Gears 3 , Crysis 2 and this one in a very special place among the best... And killzone 3 in the best graphics is pure comedy, its has great graphics but ahead of Crysis 2 just no that just pure comedy, Uc2 is from 2009, better looking games have came out already.

That sire or Mag is pure BS i dont care if they are big or not. IGN is big and is full of sh** these days.

If Killzone 3, God 3 or Uc2 are better looking than Gears of War 3/Witcher 2/Crysis 2 than i just lost all respect i had for that magazine, biased is saying the least LOL

Sony games really have alot of hype with graphics, too bad its just that and the only game that deserves to be on that top is Uncharted series, God of War sure if you only count Boss Fights.

Give me a not biased mag wich only sees Playstation and LOL its from Scadinavia or whatever its normal they are against Xbox. Yeah right worst graphical top i´ve ever seen.

Next from that MAG : Uc3 better looking than Next Gen Xbox Games or the myth : Ps3 is more powerfull than HIGH END Pcs HAHAHA

which crysis 2 do you speak of as being best looking the one with mangey charachter models and turd ai and frame rate? although i dont have the said games anymore as i usually only hold onto rpg's, theres a massive difference to what you see on screen. KZ3 has unbelievable picture clarity and looks awesome UC3 even more so not to mention UC2

As usual, every thread degrades into a graphics whoefest and which console has the biggest graphical dick. In terms of graphics I don't think the PS3 exclusives are really comparable with the Witcher 2 so far.

What I've seen from UC2 and KZ2 so far includes linear storyline(albeit a decent one) with stunning set visuals in the background and the "stages" that have been preset before and rarely are altered as you progress, whereas Witcher 2 is shaping up to be a great roaming open world game. Yeah, really comparable.



Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.
