I am also a swimmer.
I swim since 2007.
From 2007 - 2011, three times per week, 1 hour.
Since 2011, 4 or 5 times per week.

I really like medley. My favourite style is crawl and as everyone butterfly totally kills me.

I swam and played water polo very competitively throughout highschool. I'm a senior, and swimming's over, and I decided not to swim in college so I'm done with swimming, most likely for good. I burned out on it so badly.

Seems like I need to get back in the pool though, I want those muscles! XD (I know that wouldn't happen for me... I'm just no muscle and getting taller and skinnier... but no muscle!) I should start doing things.

You're 13, I wouldn't worry.

Sometime between 16 and 21 (after you stop growing upwards, but not necessarily immediately after) you will start to bulk up.

Very true. You will grow naturally larger muscles after adolescence, the more natural the nicer.

I always thought I was scrawny, I was actually the whelp of my family, but I am growing now (at age TWENTY SEVEN!). There are other things fundamental to muscle growth such as reduced stress (cortisol is bad for muscle reproduction) and increased sleep (rest is fundamental to muscle growth, as most muscle growth occurs during rest). That's the little I know about it.

In the spirit of water love, here is a beach music video I like:

Here's a pic that my friend took last summer, we went wakeboarding at a lake near Fredericton. It was an awesome time.

I blurred them in the pic for their privacy.

You seemed to have lost weight!

You can still see their faces...

I think I'm the exact same weight as back then: 180lbs. I have gone vegan since last Wednesday, so we'll see how my body reacts to my new diet. I just hope I keep gaining weight because it's my objective.

So this is a swimming thread or a boating thread? Sailing.

Well, to wake board you need to jump in the water and tread it while getting ready to board the wake board. Then again, you do have a life vest so, you don't necessarily need to know how to swim.

But general baseline is that swimmers love water, as do water sports enthusiasts, so water sports stories are also welcome.

I go swimming occasionally, especially during summer at one of the many lakes around were I live or in the river right next to my house, sadly swimming isn't as fun when you go alone and most of the time I go I am alone...
