What are you guys doing for marriages? I'm kinda just thinking of doing it pretty randomly but there has to be some better way to pick (I really only care about the pairings that will produce kids)

The first run, I did it naturally, by constantly pairing ones that had supports early on together.

Second run, I tried different combinations of unlikely pairs and basically steam rolled them together early on to marriage via playing the two chosen attached to the hip in various Risen, Spotpass and DLC battles to build supports.

I'm going back into my first file now to do it with the characters that I missed out on, which originally was about half of them but now I only have Nah and Brady left. Although it sucks because their parents or the ones I am using are low level as heck.

Smeags: "Olivia definitely needs a limit breaker."

More like a second seal unless you really want her as a Dancer. :P

There must always be a Dancer! Well minus my 2nd save file.

Anyhow her best reclass in Swordmaster, which I have Owain and Lon'qu be on my first and third file.

The new paralogue that was released today is really hard. The hardest one yet.

Especially if you've maxed out your characters. ;p

Luckly that is not my case.

Heh, I easily beat the new paralougue. Most of my team were Fliers, and the mirages don't copy weapons, so I had a massive advantage with all my Celicia's Gales. :D

@_Crazy_Man_:
Eh, instead of giving a unit up to let another unit move again, I'd rather just have a solid standalone unit in the first place, especially one who is better off fighting anyway thanks to galeforce. It's also the reason I don't like any of the rally skills. Just my opinion though.

Dancers/Herons used to be quite the team member.  But now with reclassing and galeforce, they have kidna lost their purpose.

It's just me sticking to nostalgia is all.

^You should stick to playing the older FE games then. Awakening is for the hip n cool kids lol jk.

Btw do you guys think it's worth it to have a +Skill FeMu marry Chrom? Morgan and Lucina as Assasians with Limit Break n Rightful King would have about a 75% chance for Ignis/Sol, 40% for Aether/Astra, and 25% chance for Lethality. I like these moves a lot as they're flashy lookin, so maximizing the odds of them going seems like a good plan, but Assassins have quite the low def and can't use magic which is contradictory to my tastes so idk.

It's activation skill overkill at that point.

I look at my Noire in my Lunatic play through. She is a Bow Knight with Avatar as her daddy. And with her capped skill 46 (44 with +2 Skill) she inherited Vengeance from Tharja (should lved her more and have gone for tombbreaker) and Ignis from Avatar. The problem in this scenario is that Vengeance has a higher proc chance and would over right Ignis which in most situations is better than Vengeance. So I just took off Vengeance.  The lesson here is to just choose only one activation skill.

In your case one does more damage and the other more healing, while the last is for killing targets that would otherwise be unkillable. In most cases (specially harder difficulties) self healing (Sol = better healing, Aether = better damage) trumps higher damage (Ignis/Astra and Astra is a /die against Counter targets).

So as a child character Lucina's and Morgan's str would be 52 and 60 skill as an Assassin after Limit Breaker. Which means pretty much guarenteed skill activations, Morgan even more so with Rightful King. Lethality loses its flare now that they have high enough str to kill most targets (and that most bosses in later diffculties are immune to it anyways).  Sol would be the best choice for self healing, Astra or Ignis for pure damage, and Aether for a nice inbetween.
