I don't understand it either. It's so easy to grind money and experience on Normal mode that I can't even say the DLC is there to help newbies with deep pockets.

That being said, I still bought it because you only live once and DLC packs mean I'm saving money sort of and I like pie.

Who said anything about cheating? It's like 3% of games today that takes any sort of skill to complete, so who cares about that anyway? Only people who think they have skill, because they can go through games that has been designed for a retard to be able to complete, I would think.

I'd hardly call the DLC cheating.

Hell I'm not even sure if you could beat Lunatic, let alone Lunatic + mode without using the DLC.

Even with the DLC and abusing leveling and gold in order to get better weapons, ect. The game is still very hard on those difficulties.

Not to mention the DLC has in itself some very hard and challenging maps that someone can enjoy.

If you don't want to pay for anything, thats fine. You will have a very enjoyable game to play. The main 25 levels take quite a long time to beat, then toss in the 15 or so paralogues and the 5 or so spotpass levels, that are ALL FREE.

Besides, if you really are just doing it for the "cheating" as one might say you only really need to buy one map. The golden gaffe or whatever its called for what $2.50 or so. You will get like 50k per time or more and the enemies are decent enough to do any leveling that you would want as well.

I can agree with that DLC isn't cheating.

I did skip the Gold Pack because imo Gold and Exp is easy enough to get on even Lunatic if you play right. I guess its there for people that just want to make it quicker, as all it does is save you time.

To me the Gold DLC Pack is a major time saver. You can already get unlimited ammounts of money/experience in the main game, Gold Pack just gives it to ya faster.
Speaking of DLC, the new one was quite tough. First try I got wrecked as I had a standard team with lower level dudes and all. Forgot to look at the enemy stats n stuff first. >.>
Second try after deploying my all pro team, I ran into a guy with counter for the loss. D:
Somehow overlooked he had counter while checking all the units. Finally though I beat it by abandoning the left side and focusing on the right and bottom first, making sure to block the enemy from attacking my allies, while they held out on the left side long enough for me to get over there. Twas a good battle! ^_^
